Bill and Roberta Zimmer founded Reeds in 1946 and they can be considered to be a synonym for the American success story. Bill Zimmer learned enough about diamonds already in his childhood, because his family had operated several jewelry stores. All knowledge then he transferred to the company that he founded with his wife. Zimmer managed to develop Reeds from a small town store to a full-service multi-channel jewelry retailer, which also has a very successful e-commerce. After 30 years since the opening of the first stores, Reeds expanded about two dozen new retail outlets. In addition, married couple Zimmer managed to raise several children, who had been interested, like Bill during his childhood, in jewelry and now they handle the company.
