Juicy Couture is an American fashion brand of casual, comfortable and also very sexy outfits, which are designed for young and self-confident women and girls. The company, which is headquartered in California, was founded by Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor in 1997. This popular brand specializes not only on clothing, but also on fashion accessories, cosmetics, lingerie and underwear for sleeping. In 1994 the two women, Gela and Pamela decided to create their own label Travis Jeans selling maternity pants. In 1997, the company changed the name to its current name Juicy Couture. The aim of this fashion brand from the outset was to create modern girls' clothing that would be more affordable for the general public. It is interesting that company was more or less famous thanks to Madonna. In the first years of existence of Juicy Couture, founders hadn´t much money to promote the brand. So then they began sending out their clothes to well-known celebrities, one of which was Madonna. After Madonna was seen in a tracksuit of this brand, the company became almost immediately known and successful. The first exclusive Juicy Couture boutiques were opened in 2000. In 2004, the brand (once again thanks to the popularity of velvet tracksuits) became world renowned reputable company. Juicy Couture brings luxury to the everyday women's fashion and its models are characterized by their glamorous femininity and coquetry with a dash of cute kitsch.
