Orange Julius isn´t just the name of nearly 100 years old bistro chain offering fruit drinks; it is also a name for a delicious non-alcoholic beverage. It is made from orange juice, ice, powdered egg whites, sweetener, vanilla flavoring and milk. Have you ever tasted it? Not? You definitely should ... But back to the company which was founded in 1926. Originally, Orange Julius was only a small stand in Los Angeles selling alcoholic fruit drinks with not very large daily sales. It was founded by Julius Freed and his real estate broker in was the founder of that iconic drink Orange Julius which finally gave the name to the whole company. Once started Freed in its stand to offer a new type of cocktail, sales began to rise immediately. And then success only and only grew - from year to year more and more new branches were opened, mainly in outlets. The company expanded the most in the 70s – since that many of its branches grown all over the world and there are few major world cities where you can´t go and taste this delicious fruit drink. Currently Orange Julius menu features original drinks that mixed founder of the brand nearly a century ago and a range of excellent smoothies which are a great alternative to a snack or sweets.
