In the middle of 20s of the last century, Tourneau family emigrated from Paris to New York and opened their watch counter at Berkshire Place Hotel - and that was the beginning of a successful history of the company focused on manufacturing and selling watches. The first watch-selling store was about 5 years later opened on Madison Avenue. The popularity of watches quickly spread and Tourneau became synonymous for watch innovations. In the 30s and 40s brand every year had introduced new and new concepts, which quickly gained their fans. For the next 30 years the company has grown considerably, but could not outgrow all - in 1975 it was bought by the family Wexler (with the history since 1900) which took over the name Tourneau. In 1979 Tourneau opened first store outside New York - in Florida. In 1987, Tourneau's service and repair center emerges, contributing to the growth and reputation of comprehensive customer service within the watch industry. In 2005, Tourneau opened its store in Las Vegas, which simultaneously became the largest watch store all around the world. Despite its huge success Tourneau is relentless and constantly innovating its products. Today you can buy these watches in more than 30 stores or through the website, which has been operating since 1998.
